National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament at SMSU This Weekend

MARSHALL, Minn. - Southwest Minnesota State will host the 33rd Annual National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament this weekend as seven of the nation's top teams will battle for the 2010 national championship in the R/A Facility.

The tournament will begin on Friday morning and run through Saturday afternoon.

Dreessen, Neumann Home Runs Key SMSU Victory over New York Institute of Technology

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Home runs from Amy Dreessen and Amanda Neumann led Southwest Minnesota State to a 6-3 victory over the New York Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla.

SMSU improves to 7-6 and finishes its spring trip 4-5.

Neumann finished 2 for 3 with four RBIs, while Dreessen collected two RBIs in her 1 for 4 performance.
