SMSU’s Perske Named Honorable Mention All-NSIC

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced today that Southwest Minnesota State junior defender Jenna Perske has been named honorable mention All-NSIC.

Perske, a native of Sartell, Minn., started all 16 games for SMSU this past season and recorded three shots.

The honor is the first all-conference accolade for Perske, who is fourth all-time in minutes played at SMSU with 4,289.

MOORHEAD, Minn. - Minnesota State Moorhead scored with just over five minutes remaining to break away from a 1-1 tie and drop Southwest Minnesota State 2-1 Sunday afternoon in Moorhead, Minn.

SMSU, which will not qualify for this year's postseason Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference eight-team tournament, finishes its season 2-14-0 (2-11-0 NSIC). MSUM improves to 7-10-1 (4-9-0 NSIC).
