UMD Sweeps Doubles to Defeat SMSU
Ananda Ferrari went 3-0 at No. 1 singles over the weekend.

ST. CLOUD, MINN.: The Southwest Minnesota State tennis team lost to Minnesota Duluth 8-1 on Sunday morning in St. Cloud.  UMD won all three doubles matches.  Both teams are now 1-3 after the match.

Ananda Ferrari won 3-6, 6-2, 10-7 at No. 1 singles against Rose Phippen for the Mustangs' only win on the day.  Danielle Hildebrandt came close to another victory, losing in three sets at No. 3 singles against Kayelyn Johnson.

SMSU is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 16 at St. Cloud State at 4 p.m.
