Dickhausen Breaks Career RBI Record in Rout of East Stroudsburg

OSCEOLA, FLA.: Erin Dickhausen needed just one run batted in to break the career RBI record at Southwest Minnesota State, but she drove in three as SMSU defeated East Stroudsburg (Pa.) 7-1 on Monday afternoon at the Rebel Spring Games in Florida.  Dickhausen entered Monday's second game tied with Laura Siebenborn (1999-2002) with 104 career runs batted in.

The Mustangs are now 4-2 this spring, while the Warriors are 3-6 overall.

Angie Rohne picked up the win on the mound, throwing all seven innings, while scattering seven hits and striking out two.

Trailing 1-0 in the third inning, Dickhausen ripped a two-run triple to break the RBI record and give the Mustangs a 2-1 lead.  SMSU added single runs in the fourth and fifth innings and scored three in the sixth on three Warrior errors.

Dickhausen was 2-for-4 at the plate with three RBI.  Amanda Burkhart went 3-for-4 with two doubles.

SMSU finished the game with seven hits and zero errors while East Stroudsburg had five errors in the game.

SMSU will be back in action tomorrow at 2 p.m. (CDT) versus Ashland.
