Third Annual Mustang Shootout this Saturday

MARSHALL, MINN.: The 3rd annual SMSU Mustang Shootout will be held this Saturday, Sept. 13 at Shooters Sporting Clays east of Marshall on Highway 19.
Proceeds from the event, which is sponsored by Shooters Sporting Clays and the Mustang Booster Club, will benefit the SMSU Athletics Scholarship Fund.
The day will begin at 9 a.m. with the “Duck Flurry” shooter warm-up, sponsorship breakfast and other fun activities. Competition will then begin at 10:30 a.m. with the first 50 birds followed by lunch and the second round of 50 birds beginning at 12 p.m.
The cost is $75 for 100 birds, while SMSU students and youth 18 and under can sign-up for just $40. All individuals are asked to bring eye and ear protection.
Participants will receive a long sleeve t-shirt, 100 birds, lunch and an entry ticket for a chance to win the grand prize, a grill donated by Runnings Farm & Fleet.
