KEARNEY, Neb. - The Southwest Minnesota State tennis team completed play at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Region Tournament yesterday in Kearney, Neb., as
Cailey Grupe was eliminated in the round of 16 in singles play. Grupe advanced the deepest for the Mustangs in singles action; Grupe and teammate
Trisha Baldwin were also eliminated in the round of 16 in doubles play on Friday.
In singles play, SMSU's
Angie Wiegmann and Baldwin were eliminated in the round of 32. Wiegmann and
Amy Daniels were also eliminated in the round of 32 in doubles play.
The ITA Region Tournament concludes play this fall for SMSU. The Mustangs will resume competition this spring.
