SMSU Athletics

The SMSU Cheer Team can be seen cheering at all home football, men's basketball and women's basketball games during the season.

Members of the SMSU Cheer Team devote 15-20 hours per week to practices, conditioning, games and other special appearances.  As part of the SMSU Athletic Department, cheer team members must maintain high academic standards and carry a full credit load to participate.  The Cheer Team will perform at halftime, homecoming, and other special events, on and off campus.  The cheer team will also host several childrens cheer clinics throughout the season.
