Dan Snobl (community member) has been a long-time supporter of SMSU and Mustang athletics.
A registered physical therapist, he worked as SMSU’s director of physical medicine for 37 years and also served as SMSU’s interim director of athletics in 1995.
He has been involved with SMSU athletics in many different roles, including helping the department host MSHSL section wrestling tournaments for 14 years, serving as tournament director. He also worked very closely with the SMSU wheelchair basketball program, including serving as a wheelchair basketball medical classifier.
Snobl has earned numerous awards from the University, including the Alumni Association Honorary Lifetime Membership Award in 1990, the Distinguished Service Faculty Award in 2008 and the Cathy Cowan Award in 2008.
Dan and wife, Mary, live in Tracy, Minn., and have four children.
