The Mustangs are coming off a 53-21 road loss to No. 24 Augustana in Sioux Falls, S.D., last Saturday. SMSU will also be looking to snap another streak on Saturday. The Mustangs have lost five straight overall to Wayne State with SMSU’s last victory coming in Wayne, Neb., on Oct. 16, 2004.
The #3 Mustang Volleyball team (12-2, 4-1 NSIC) continues a five-match homestand this weekend as the Mustangs host SMSU-Moorhead last night and take on Minnesota, Crookston today at 3:00 pm in the PE Gym. SMSU is coming off a non-conference victory over #6 Concordia, St. Paul this past Tuesday.
