Hello Mustang Fans!
It is hard to believe that 2012 is right around the corner.
I would like to provide you some information about the Believe in Brown Card program the SMSU Athletics Department started this fall. The Believe in Brown card allows the individual cardholders to earn, on the average, 5% back on purchases at the participating businesses who have contracted to take part in the program. Here are a few of the local businesses you can be redeeming cash back on your purchases by using the Believe in Brown card:
Borch’s Sporting Goods
Brau haus Restaurant & Bar
Burger King
County Fair Food Store
Dairy Queen
Hardees
KirPatrick’s
Mike’s Cafe
Perkins
Slumberland
Subway
Valley Discount Liquor
By using the Believe in Brown card at these businesses, you earn a percentage (on average 5%) back on your card for future purchases at the individual businesses. You, the cardholder, decide when you would like to redeem the rewards that accumulate on the Believe in Brown card. Each business has loaded a reward for you to use once you go to plsrewards.com and register your card. You need to register your card in order to redeem the preloaded benefits provided to you by the businesses.
Your registration into the program creates your own personal webpage within the plsrewards.com website for you to track your transactions at the participating businesses as well as view the rewards you have accumulated at the various businesses, The plsrewards.com website also lists all the businesses who are participating in the program in Marshall, surrounding southwestern Minnesota towns and throughout the state.
How does this benefit SMSU Athletics? When you use your Believe in Brown card at the businesses in the program, a percentage of your purchase goes back to Mustang Athletics. Each business has agreed to give a percentage of your purchases back to SMSU Athletics because of your loyalty and support of the Believe in Brown card program. It is a wonderful program that earns the Believe in Brown cardholder cash back on their purchases at participating businesses while helping SMSU Athletics, with a percentage of your purchase going to SMSU Athletics in support of athletic scholarship.
If you would like a Believe in Brown card, please come up to the SMSU Department of Athletics on the third floor of Founders Hall. We have plenty of cards available for those people who would like to get registered with our loyalty program and begin earning cash back rewards at the participating businesses all in support of Mustang Athletics.
