Hello Mustang Fans!
Next week is finals week on the campus of Southwest Minnesota State University. It is hard to believe we are closing out another academic year and nearing the end of the 2011-12 athletics season. It has been a great year for Mustang Athletics, and our entire SMSU Athletics staff appreciates the support we have received from southwestern Minnesota and the Marshall community.
The next Mustang Booster Club event will be the David and Carol Drown SMSU Golf Classic. The Golf Classic is an 18 hole, five-person scramble tournament being held on Friday, June 15 at the Marshall Golf Club followed by the awards ceremony, a meal, live and silent auctions, and games lasting all evening.
The event will conclude the event with an 18 hole, five-person scramble tournament at the Tyler Golf Club on Saturday, June 16 with an awards ceremony and social following the event. Please put these two events down on your calendar, today.
The Mustang Booster Club will also be conducting its annual Membership Drive scheduled to begin in late June. If you are interested in participating on one of the membership drive teams, please contact Tim Steinbach at 537-7204 for all your membership drive information.
