Success by our Southwest Minnesota State University athletic teams can be attributed to several things. The most obvious being outstanding coaches and talented student-athletes for all 19 Mustang intercollegiate teams. Another major player is the support from the Mustang Booster Club, the Athletic Corporate Partners Program and individuals. Funds from the Mustang Booster Club, Corporate Partners Program and individual gifts are used in athletic scholarships and budget support for all our Mustang teams. Thus, Mustang Booster Club and Corporate Partner members are providing both academic and athletic opportunities for student-athletes at SMSU.

In providing support, Mustang Booster Club Members provide student-athletes the opportunity to pursue their educational and athletic goals while representing our University and region. Members are also providing the resources needed for success at the NSIC and NCAA Division II level.
