Sarah Quiram has been named to the Central Region All-Tournament team. Quiram and SMSU were eliminated in the Central Region semifinals by Minnesota Duluth on Friday.
Quiram recorded 55 digs (6.88/set) in SMSU's two matches in the Central Region tournament, including a 24-dig performance against Metro State (Colo.) on Thursday and a 31-dig outing against UMD on Friday. She also had six assists and four service aces in those two matches. The LeSueur, Minn., native was named All-NSIC earlier this season.
SMSU finished 28-6 on the season and made its fifth straight NCAA tournament appearance and sixth overall. The Mustangs also finished the year ranked No. 7 in the nation and with their best regular season record in school history, posting a 27-5 mark.
