SMSU Remains at No. 15 in National Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Southwest Minnesota State volleyball team remained at No. 15 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II Top 25 Poll released Monday. The Mustangs received 349 points in the poll, as voted on by Division II head coaches across the country. This is is the second consecutive week SMSU has been ranked No. 15.

NSIC neighbor Concordia University, St. Paul received all 32 first-place votes and a total of 800 points to top the national poll. Five NSIC teams made the top 25.

SMSU went 1-1 this past weekend in conference play, defeating St. Cloud State and falling to No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul.

The Mustangs (18-6, 8-4 NSIC) are on the road this weekend, traveling to Augustana and No. 18 Wayne State for a pair of conference matches.
