DIVISION II RANKINGS
EDMOND, Okla. - Southwest Minnesota State wrestler
Demond Carter jumped two spots and is ranked No. 6 at 149 pounds in the latest individual Division II national rankings released Wednesday by the National Wrestling Coaches Association.
Carter, a native of East St. Louis, Mo., is the first and only Mustang to crack the national rankings this season. He checked in at No. 8 in the rankings released by the NWCA on Jan. 20.
The junior has compiled a 10-8 record this season.
SMSU travels to Minnesota State Moorhead on Friday for a conference dual.
