ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced on Friday that Southwest Minnesota State University sophomore golfer
KC Kane has been named first team All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference as selected by the league's head coaches.
Kane, a native of Buffalo, Minn., was one of five golfers named to the all-conference first team. It's the second straight season she has been named first team All-NSIC. Kane leads SMSU this season with a 79.0 stroke average in 17 rounds and has recorded nine sub-80 rounds. She has five top-10 finishes and three top-five finishes this season.
SMSU will continue play on May 2-4 at the NCAA Super Regional Three Championships at The Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, Minn.
