ROUND 1 RESULTS
LAKE CITY, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State women's golf team is in seventh place at the nine-team, 54-hole NCAA Super Region Three Championships at The Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, Minn. SMSU shot an opening round of 49-over-par 337. Augustana leads the championship with a score of 321. The top three teams following Tuesday's final round advance to the NCAA Championships.

Melissa Lackas is tied for sixth with an opening round 8-over-par 80. Lackas had five birdies in the opening round, but closed her round with a triple bogey on 18.
KC Kane struggled early but rebounded to shoot a 12-over 84, with one birdie and is tied for 26th.
Sarah Baukol is tied for 29th with a 13-over 85, while
Stephanie Bruns rounded out SMSU's team scoring on Sunday with a 16-over 88 and is tied for 37th. Freshman
Krista Weiszhaar is tied for 44th after carding a 19-over 91, tying for her second worst round of the season.
Augustana's Emily Kvidera is the first round leader with a 1-over-par 73.
