SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's and men's track teams closed out the two-day Sioux City Relays on Saturday with several individuals placing high in numerous events.
For the SMSU women, Rylee Armstrong placed third in the triple jump with a mark of 11.11m.
Eisha Oden finished seventh in the 400 meters with a time of 58.75, with teammate Savannah Ramirez also placing seventh in the 5000 meters with a time of 19:56.19.
Naomi Dalton recorded a 10th place finish in the discus with a toss of 38.07m.
On the men's side, Lucas Woods finished second in the long jump with 6.56m, while Albert Rogalski placed fifth with a jump of 6.21m.
Zach Jones placed third in the triple jump finishing with a mark of 13.57m.
Alex Wies finished sixth in the hammer throw (49.37m) and finished seventh in the both the shot put (14.87m) and discus (46.15m).
The Southwest Minnesota State track & field teams return to action next weekend at both the Drake Relays and the Drake Alternative Meet in St. Peter, Minn.
