The fourth annual Southwest Minnesota State University Smokefest BBQ Contest will take place on Sept. 17-18, 2010, on the campus of SMSU in Marshall. In conjunction with the Smokefest, the Mustang Stampede 5k Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18.

8 a.m. – 4 p.m. SMSU Smokefest
8 a.m. – 9 a.m. Registration for Mustang Stampede
9 a.m. Mustang Stampede 5k Walk/Run
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. BBQ Gates Open (Food, Beverage Garden)
10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Women’s Health and Wellness Expo (Regional Event Center)
12 p.m. Smokefest Judging Begins
12 p.m. SMSU Soccer vs Concordia-St. Paul
3 p.m. SMSU Volleyball vs Minnesota State, Mankato
4 p.m. Smokefest Awards Ceremony
6 p.m. SMSU Football vs Bemidji State
