Legion Field

Starting with the 2019 season, SMSU once again plays nearly all of its home games at picturesque Legion Field in Marshall

Alumni Field on the north end of campus is the practice home for SMSU baseball and has also been the main game field for Mustang baseball from 2003-18.

Over the years, Alumni Field has seen numerous changes and continues to make changes every season. Two hitting cages have been added, as well as new sod in the infield, an irrigation system, new backstop, new scoreboard, grandstand and a hitter's eye in center field.

After the upgrades to Alumni Field, SMSU started playing all of its home games at on-campus ballpark in 2003 before returning to Legion Field in 2018 following upgrades to the infield and other projects at Legion Field.
