SMSU Athletics

Southwest Minnesota State University Athletics and Marshall Radio will once again produce a weekly radio show that will air on local airways and also be available via podcast to help promote SMSU Athletics.
 
Marshall Radio's and 'The Voice of SMSU Athletics', Ryan Rohlik, will once again host the long-standing weekly show, "Saturday Morning Mustang" at 9:05 a.m. on 1400 AM KMHL. The weekly one-hour show airs each Saturday with Rohlik, SMSU VP of Athletics of Athletics Travis Whipple and SMSU Assistant Athletic Director of Communications Kelly Loft and features updates on SMSU Athletics along with interviews with SMSU head coaches. The show will air live on MarshallRadio.net and will also be available via download on SoundCloud at MarshallRadio.net.

Rohlik will also host "Mustang Trails", as he chats with an SMSU student-athlete each week.
 
During the COVID-19 academic year 2020-21, SMSU and Marshall Radio hosted two shows that highlighted current student-athletes and great Mustang memories. The "Meet the Mustang" with  Rohlik was an in-depth interview with SMSU student-athletes and head coaches. Rohlik and Loft hosted "Mustang Memory", which looked back at Mustang memories and featured in-depth interviews and stories with former SMSU student-athletes and coaches from the past 50-plus years of Mustang Athletics.
