SMSU Falls to CSP

ST. PAUL, MINN.:
The Southwest Minnesota State soccer team fell 1-0 to Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday afternoon.  The loss drops SMSU to 3-12-2 overall and 2-5-1 in the NSIC.

Kari Jones scored for CSP with four minutes left in the match, on assists from Katie Johnson and Sam Voeller.

Kayla Borstad made nine saves in the net for the Mustangs.  Tatum Borstad and Jessica Curl each led SMSU with two shots on goal.

The Mustangs play again on Sunday at MSU Moorhead for their final regular season match.  A win will likely get them into the NSIC Tournament.
