Dean Becomes SMSU's All-Time Goals Scored Leader; SMSU Ties MSUM

MOORHEAD, MINN.:
Joelle Dean scored the 28th goal of her career on Sunday, breaking the Southwest Minnesota State career goals scored record.  Dean moved past Nadia AbuAyed (2001-04), after tying the record last weekend.

As for the match, SMSU tied Minnesota State Moorhead 1-1, giving the Mustangs the eighth seed in the upcoming NSIC Tournament.  They will travel to Winona State on Wednesday for the first round of the playoffs.  The game time will be announced later.

Dean scored on the 14th minute on an assist from Tatum Borstad.  MSUM got on the board in the 71st minute when Richelle Ross scored unassisted.  Kayla Borstad made nine saves for SMSU.
