Mustangs Fall 4-0 to Mary

BISMARCK, N.D.: The Southwest Minnesota State soccer team fell 4-0 to the University of Mary on Saturday. SMSU drops to 2-8-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Mary scored three times in the first half, with all three goals coming from Megan Wilson. Alyssa Deutscher added an insurance goal just over nine minutes into the second half to give Mary its win.

SMSU had 14 shots in the match, led by Jessica Curl with five--four on goal--and Tatum Borstad with three. Kayla Borstad made six saves in goal.

SMSU travels to Aberdeen, S.D., to play Northern State at 1 p.m.
