Mustang Wrestlers Fall to Augustana

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.: The Southwest Minnesota State wrestling team dropped a non-conference dual 45-3 to Augustana (S.D.) on Friday evening. The loss drops SMSU to 0-2 in duals this season, while Augie improves to 1-1.

Greg Frank had SMSU's only win on the night, picking up an 8-2 decision over Andrew Sorenson at 174. Tyler Johnson came close to winning, but fell 5-3 at 184 to Beau Severtson. The Mustangs were open at three weight classes.

Southwest is back in action on Wednesday, January 16 when it hosts St. John's at 7 p.m. in the P.E. Gym.
