Jimmies Top SMSU in Non-Conference Action

JAMESTOWN, N.D.: The Southwest Minnesota State wrestling team lost a non-conference dual to Jamestown College 30-6 on Friday evening in Jamestown. Tyler Johnson and Logan McAlpin picked up wins for the Mustangs at 184 and 157, respectively, as the team dropped to 0-5 for the season.

McAlpin won by a 13-7 decision over Chris Harmon. Johnson won 3-0 against Matt Buyssee. Greg Frank and Cody Chamblin both lost close decisions.

SMSU is in Jamestown again today for the Jamestown Open.
