MOORHEAD, MINN.: The Southwest Minnesota State wrestling team dropped its second dual of the weekend, 46-3 to Concordia-Moorhead on Sunday afternoon in Moorhead. The loss drops SMSU to 0-7 in duals on the season, while Concordia improves to 3-3.
Tyler Johnson won Southwest's only match on the day, winning an 8-6 decision over Cody Salo at 184. Ed Reno (133) and L.J. Franzoni (141) both lost decisions. Again, SMSU forfeited three weight classes, handing the Cobbers 18 points.
The Mustangs resume NSIC action on Thursday, Feb. 7 with a dual at Minnesota State Moorhead scheduled for 7 p.m.
