No. 7 MSU Moorhead Rolls Over SMSU

MOORHEAD, MINN.: The No. 7 Minnesota State Moorhead Dragons defeated Southwest Minnesota State 42-3 on Friday in an Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference dual in Moorhead. The loss drops SMSU to 0-8 overall and 0-2 in the NSIC. MSUM improves to 11-6 and 2-1 in the NSIC.

Tyler Johnson won SMSU's only match of the night, a 2-0 decision over Dan LeDuc at 184. Johnson is now 24-11 for the season. Logan McAlpin and C.D. Johnson both dropped 9-2 decisions at 157 and 165.

SMSU is back in action at the North Country Open in Collegeville, Minn., on Saturday, Feb. 9.
