Mustangs Sweep Crookston

ST. CLOUD, MINN.: The Southwest Minnesota State tennis team defeated Minnesota, Crookston 9-0 on Sunday in St. Cloud in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match. The Mustangs are now 7-8 overall and 4-1 this spring.

SMSU was perfect at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, winning 8-0 in both matches. Ananda Ferrari won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, as did Diana Naatz at No. 4, Cailey Grupe at No. 5 and Trisha Baldwin at No. 6.

Southwest is scheduled to host Upper Iowa and Northern State on Sunday, Apr. 6 at Marshall High School.
