WAYNE, NEB.: Southwest Minnesota State extended its winning streak to nine in a row with a 9-4 victory over Bemidji State on Sunday morning at the NSIC Crossover in Wayne, Neb.

SMSU trailed 3-0 early in the game but earned the comeback victory behind a home run from Courtney Anttila, three hits from Andrea Fennern and two hits and two RBI from Meaghan Laetsch.

SMSU is now 19-6 overall, 4-0 NSIC and will conclude the conference opening weekend at 2 p.m. today versus the University of Mary.
