MARSHALL, Minn. - Mary's Megan Wilson scored with just under one minute remaining to break a scoreless tie and lift her Marauders to a 1-0 victory over Southwest Minnesota State Friday night at the Regional Event Center in Marshall, Minn.
U-Mary improves to 5-4-2 (3-0-1 NSIC), while SMSU drops to 0-8-0 (0-5-0 NSIC).
Wilson's goal came off a corner kick from Joanna Drennen. It was one of Wilson's two shots on goal on the evening.
SMSU had nine shots--three on goal--in the loss.
Tatum Borstad led the Mustang with three shots. Borstad,
Kelly Fitzgerald and
Chelsea Morin all had shots on goal for SMSU.
