MARSHALL, Minn. - Northern State's Maggie Fedor scored the game's only goal 10 minutes into the second half break a scoreless tie and lead her Wolves to a 1-0 conference victory over Southwest Minnesota State Sunday afternoon at the Regional Event Center in Marshall, Minn.
NSU improves to 4-4-4 (2-1-2 NSIC), while SMSU drops to 0-9-0 (0-6-0 NSIC).
Fedor, who led NSU with six shots, found the back of the net unassisted from the right side, sending a high shot just out of reach of SMSU goalkeeper

NSU held the Mustangs to just seven total shots on the afternoon. The Wolf offense collected 22 shots and kept Olchefske busy with 11 shots on goal. Olchefske finished with 10 saves.
Maggy Rouse led SMSU with four shots and was responsible for the Mustangs' lone shot on goal.
The 1-0 loss marks the seventh time this season that SMSU has been held scoreless.
NSU goalkeeper Dee Wood finished with one save.
SMSU will host Minnesota State, Mankato on Friday at 2 p.m. as part of this coming week's homecoming festivities.
