SMSU, 4-6 overall, 3-6 NSIC, 1-5 NSIC South, began the season 2-0, but lost six of its next seven games, including five in a row, but snapped the losing streak last Saturday with a 34-10 road victory over Northern State.

Senior Day for 16 Mustangs: A total of 16 Mustang seniors will be playing their final home game of their careers on Saturday and will be honored prior to kickoff.  The senior players include: Levi Bullerman, Matt Carmody, Aaron Diggs, Michael Hagny, Lionel Lamarre, Tyler Mickelson, Bill Noethlich, Mike Scott, Shaye Thomas, Derek Townsend, Ryan Vette, Jordan Wager, Nic Wagner, Tony Weiler, Blake Wilson and Zach Wysong.

A Possible 11 Victories in Two Seasons: A victory on Saturday afternoon with give the Mustangs a 5-6 record this season and a combined 11-11 record the past two seasons.  The 11 wins in back-to-back seasons would be the highest two-year total since the 1991 and 1992 teams combined for 15 victories.
