ST. CLOUD, Minn. - St. Cloud State tallied 23 shots--nine of them on goal--and found the back of the net twice to hand Southwest Minnesota State a 2-0 loss Saturday afternoon in St. Cloud, Minn.
SCSU improves to 3-2-3 (2-0-1 NSIC), while SMSU drops to 0-6-0 (0-3-0 NSIC).
The Mustangs scored their first goal of the 2009 season in the loss.  
Kate Voigt, who led SMSU with four shots, netted a score in the 32nd minute to tie the game at 1-1.  
SCSU had opened scoring 15 minutes earlier when Gabrielle Najera knocked one in.  Alexndra Pafko had the go-ahead goal for the Huskies just before half.
SMSU managed five shots on goal, tying a season high.
Kendra Olchefske recorded seven saves for the Mustangs.
SMSU will play at Concordia University, St. Paul tomorrow at 1 p.m.
