MINOT, N.D.- Minot State rallied after trailing the Southwest Minnesota State soccer team 2-1 in the first half to defeat the Mustangs 3-2 in an overtime victory Saturday afternoon.
SMSU (1-6-1, 0-4-1 NSIC) and Minot State met earlier this season when the Mustangs defeated the Beavers in a 2-1 overtime decision in Marshall. The series between the teams is tied at a win each.

Maggy Rouse's corner kick at 18 minutes followed by
Brittany Oehlerking finding the back of the net ten minutes later.
Jamie MacFarlane netted a goal from Ashley Goheen after 85 minutes forcing overtime where Tara McPartland scored the game-ending goal eight minutes into the extra period.
SMSU returns to Northern Sun Intercollegiate action on Friday when they travel to Wayne, Neb. to take on Wayne State at 4:30 p.m.
