MARSHALL - The Mustang Booster Club will hold its annual kickoff picnic on Friday, Aug. 27 at the Regional Event Center in Marshall starting at 6 p.m.  The event officially kickoffs the 2010-11 Mustang athletic season.

2010-11 Mustang Booster Club members can pick up their season tickets and Booster Club apparel at the picnic.  Additional Mustang apparel will also be for sale.

The SMSU women's basketball team will also be holding a Rummage Sale in the R/A parking lot on both Thursday, Aug. 26 and Friday, Aug. 27 between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

In addition, the SMSU football team will host an open practice at 3:45 p.m. that afternoon with the picnic to follow.  Selected SMSU fall student-athletes will be available for autographs starting at 6 p.m. 

The picnic is open to all Mustang Booster Club members and potential club members.  Information regarding the Mustang Booster Club will be available.
