MARSHALL, Minn.- The Southwest Minnesota State soccer team lost its second game of the weekend today when St. Cloud State topped SMSU 2-0. 

SMSU falls to 1-3 (0-2 NSIC), while St. Cloud State improves to 3-3 (1-1 NSIC).

Both goals for St. Cloud State came in the second half when Brooke Eggen scored at 60 minutes and Alex Pafko followed with another goal six minutes later. 

St. Cloud State took 29 shots, 19 on goal while SMSU attemped eight shots with five on goal. Kelly Fitzgerald and Brittany Oehlerking both contributed six shots for the Mustangs.

Kendra Olchefske had a game-high 17 saves for SMSU. 

SMSU will travel to Aberdeen on Friday to take on Northern State at 4 p.m.
