GAME NOTES

Setting the Scene: Southwest Minnesota State University (2-1, 1-1 NSIC) will open Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference South Division play on Saturday, Sept. 25, with a road game at No. 24 Augustana College (3-0, 2-0 NSIC) in Sioux Falls, S.D.  Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. at Kirkeby-Over Stadium.  SMSU is coming off its first loss of the season last Saturday, a 30-14 home setback to Bemidji State, while Augustana stayed perfect on the season with a 52-21 home victory over the University of Mary.  Augustana's 3-0 start has moved them to No. 24 in this week's AFCA Top 25 poll.  The Vikings begin the week ranking 13th in the nation in total defense, 13th in rush defense and 14th in passing offense.
