BISMARCK, N.D.- Michelle Jones' goal for the University of Mary proved to be enough to top the Southwest Minnesota State soccer team Sunday in a 1-0 decision. 

Mary improves to 2-4-2 (1-1-2 NSIC); SMSU moves to 1-4-1 (0-3-1 NSIC) on the season. 

The two teams remained scoreless for 59 minutes until Jones' shot found the back of the net on an assist from Chelsea Eades. 

SMSU took six shots during the game with just one solo shot on goal from Maggy Rouse. 

Kendra Olchefske notched four saves for the Mustangs 

SMSU travels to Mankato on Wednesday to take on Minnesota State, Mankato at 3 p.m. The Mustangs will be on the road again Saturday when they play Minot State at 2 p.m.
