Setting the Scene: Southwest Minnesota State University (1-0, 0-0 NSIC) is scheduled to play the University of Mary (0-1, 0-0 NSIC) to open the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference season at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Community Bowl in Bismarck, N.D.  SMSU is coming off a 28-24 non-conference victory over Northern State, while UMary opened with a 35-3 road loss to Chadron State (Neb.) on Aug. 28.
