SETTING THE SCENE: Southwest Minnesota State University (2-4, 2-3 NSIC, 0-2 NSIC South) returns home to face No. 16 St. Cloud State University (5-1, 4-1 NSIC, 2-0 NSIC North) in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match-up on Saturday night, Oct. 15, at the Regional Event Center.  Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.  The game will be SCSU's first in Marshall since Oct. 24, 1981.

SMSU, which snapped a three-game losing streak this past Saturday with a victory at MSU Moorhead, will be seeking its first win over St. Cloud State since Oct. 24, 1981, and just is second overall in 16 all-time games.

SCSU is coming off a 31-13 home victory over Minnesota State for its third straight win and moved up one spot to No. 16 in the latest AFCA Top 25 poll.
