SETTING THE SCENE: Southwest Minnesota State University (1-4, 1-3 NSIC, 0-2 NSIC South) travels to Moorhead, Minn., to face Minnesota State Moorhead (2-3, 1-3 NSIC, 1-1 NSIC North) in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match-up on Saturday, Oct. 8, at Alex Nemzek Stadium.  Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

SMSU will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak and earn just its fourth victory in 19 games all-time in Moorhead.  The Mustangs, winless in three road games this season, committed seven turnovers last Saturday in losing 52-29 to Wayne State.

MSU Moorhead is coming off a 49-21 road loss to defending national champion Minnesota Duluth last Saturday night.
