FIRST SERVE
No. 6 Southwest Minnesota State opens the 2011 season at the Wildwood Lodge Volleyball Classic hosted by Concordia-St. Paul on Sept. 2-3. The Mustangs open the tournament at 9 a.m. on Friday against No. 25 Northern Michigan before taking on NSIC foe No. 9 Wayne State at 5 p.m. On Saturday, SMSU opens with Pittsburg State (Kan.) at 1 p.m. and will close-out the season-opening tournament with a match against No. 2 Central Missouri at 5 p.m.
