WINONA, Minn. – Katy Soliday scored in the 52nd minute to lead Winona State to a 1-0 victory over Southwest Minnesota State in women's college soccer on Saturday.
WSU is now 25-0-2 all-time in 27 meetings versus SMSU.
WSU (8-3, 7-1 NSIC) finished the game with 17 shots, including eight on goal. SMSU (5-5, 3-5 NSIC) ended the match with 11 shots with seven on net.

Kendahl Fisher and Brittany Bravo each led the Mustangs with two shots on goal.
Sonya Smith racked up seven saves for SMSU in goal, while Alexandra Vial recorded the shutout for WSU.
All five of SMSU's losses this season have been by one goal.
Southwest Minnesota State continues conference play tomorrow with a 1 p.m. match at Upper Iowa.
