ST. PAUL, Minn. – Mary Groth boasted 15 kills and a .481 attack percentage to lead No. 6 Southwest Minnesota State to a 3-0 victory over Regis (Colo.) Friday afternoon. SMSU cruised to victory with set wins of 25-12, 25-19, and 25-14.

McKell Anderson turned in another impressive performance as she finished with nine kills and 10 digs; just shy of her first career double-double.
Mary Groth posted a match-high 15 kills.
Emilee Gutzmer was sharp with 33 assists, while
Rachel Westby provided defensive help with 18 digs.
The Mustangs combined for eight service aces in the match which was more than any other match total from all of last season.
No. 6 SMSU (2-0) will wrap-up the Concordia-St. Paul tournament with a match-up against No. 20 BYU-Hawaii (1-0) tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. The match will mark the first ever meeting between the two programs.
