SMSU RETURNS HOME TO FACE LEAGUE-LEADING UNIVERSITY OF MARY
    The Southwest Minnesota State University (1-1, 1-1 NSIC) football team returns home to continue Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 15, facing the University of Mary (2-0, 2-0 NSIC).  Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. at Mattke Field at the Regional Event Center. 

LAST WEEK
    Southwest Minnesota State picked up a thrilling 32-30 road victory over Northern State with Lance Schuveiller kicking a game-winning 26-yard field goal as time expired.  SMSU started the final drive at its own 22-yard line with 1:02 left in the game and no timeouts.
    The University of Mary moved to 2-0 with a 31-25 home win over Augustana.  Craig Bagnell, who was named NSIC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, passed for a career-high 407 yards and four touchdowns, completing 30-of-49 pass attempts to pace the Marauders.
