MARSHALL, Minn - The No. 4 Southwest Minnesota State volleyball team has began the 2012 season 9-1 overall, 2-1 in NSIC play but will be tested this weekend with St. Cloud State and No. 3 Minnesota Duluth coming to town. The Mustangs welcomed the University of Sioux Falls to the strong Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference last night with a victory in straight set with scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-9. St. Cloud State will enter Friday's contest 5-6 overall, 1-2 in NSIC play, while No. 3 Minnesota Duluth is a perfect 12-0 overall, 3-0 in NSIC play.

No. 4 SMSU will play St. Cloud State on Friday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. and No. 3 Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 3 p.m.
