SMSU HITS THE ROAD FOR FIRST TIME
The Southwest Minnesota State University (0-1, 0-1 NSIC) football team continues Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 8, traveling to Aberdeen, S.D., to battle Northern State University (0-1, 0-1 NSIC).  Kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m. at Swisher Field. 

LAST WEEK
Southwest Minnesota State opened the 2012 season on Aug. 30 in Marshall with a 45-20 loss to No. 2 Minnesota Duluth, while Northern State dropped a 35-14 road decision to Augustana on Sept. 1.
