THIS WEEK: The Southwest Minnesota State University (5-4 NSIC, 3-2 NSIC South) football team continues conference play this Saturday, Nov. 9, taking on Concordia University, St. Paul (4-5 NSIC, 2-3 NSIC South) at the H.H.H. Metrodome in Minneapolis starting at 2 p.m. The game was moved to the Metrodome on Oct. 21. CU's home field - Sea Foam Stadium - has a dome that its expected to be inflated this week causing the site change. It's the second time in two years CU has moved its game versus SMSU into the Metrodome. In 2011, CU won 60-53 in the season finale for both teams played on Nov. 12. A victory would give SMSU its most victories in a season since the 2008 squad finished 6-5 and would secure the program's ninth winning season in team history.

TONDERUM SETS NSIC RECORD: Junior Tyler Tonderum set the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference single-season rushing record during SMSU's 51-44 overtime win over Winona State on Nov. 3. Tonderum broke the record in the third quarter and now has amassed 1,708 yards on 262 carries. The previous record was 1,586 yards which was set last year by Winona State's Rayon Simmons on 285 carries.

SMSU LOOKS TO CLAIM WINNING SEASON: A win on Saturday by SMSU would secure the program's first winning season since 2008 and just the ninth in the 46-year history of the program.

SMSU AT THE THE METRODOME: Saturday's game will be the 23rd time SMSU has played at the Metrodome and first since 2011. SMSU is 10-12 all-time at the stadium and has lost seven straight since 2001. SMSU's last victory at the Metrodome was Nov. 11, 2000, versus UW-Platteville.

TOTAL OFFENSE RECORD: The SMSU offense is close to setting a school record for total offense in a single-season. SMSU begins the week with 4,924 yards and is 379 yards shy of tying the school record of 5,303 yards set by the 1987
