MARSHALL, Minn.—Fort Hays State spoiled Southwest Minnesota State's season opener Friday night, earning a 4-1 victory at the Schwan Regional Event Center. It was the season opener for both teams.
The Tigers scored in the 16
th and the 37
th minute to build a 2-0 half time lead. FHSU scored a pair of goals in the second half to increase their lead to 4-0.
